The four primary sub categories of heating technology are as follows:
WATER HEATER
Water heating is a heat transfer technique that raises the temperature of water from its starting point. Hot water is typically used in the home for cooking, cleaning, bathing, and space heating.
HEAT PUMP
A heat pump is a device that uses the refrigeration cycle to move thermal energy from a cooler space to a warmer space in order to warm and occasionally cool high raised structures.
HEAT EXCHANGER
A mechanism for transferring heat between two or more fluids is called a heat exchanger. Both cooling and heating operations employ heat exchangers. The fluids may be in direct touch or separated by a solid wall to prevent mixing.
CALORIFIER
In a heating and hot water system, a calorifier is an indirect-fired water heater that produces hot water. The term “indirect fired” describes a water heater without a burner.….
